The GrainXchange offers growers the ability to confidentially list warehoused or on farm grain for sale. Growers may display a cash ‘target price’ they wish to achieve although this is not compulsory.

The buyer will be able to view tonnages and target prices, if listed, however no grower details will be available to the buyer at this point and grain will be identified using lot numbers.

Grain can be added and removed and target prices changed at any time by the grower.

A sms service will be optional that can be turned on and off as desired.

A running daily graph will record target price average and buyer best price tracking.

A section will allow Domestic buyers to indicate interest in on farm storage forward contracts, for varieties and quality of grain.

1. Buyers enter their price bids with EPIC
2. Growers enter their grain on offer for sale (with or without a ‘target price’ they wish to achieve)
3. Where a buyer’s bid meets a grower’s target price EPIC will contact the grower and provide details of the buyer & their bid
4. If the grower accepts the buyer bid, EPIC will send the growers details to the buyer as a trade match
5. The buyer will then contact the grower to initiate a purchase contract direct with the grower.

• A grower who does not list their ‘target price’ may contact EPIC if they wish to accept a current buyer’s price bid, and EPIC will trade match the grower’s details to the buyer.
• Buyer’s wishing to acquire grain may request EPIC to approach growers with offers that may be below target price.
• A buyer has the right of refusal to accept an offer of grain, just as a grower is not obligated to sell.

When on-farm grain is listed the web site will calculate an on-farm storage quality rating based on information provided by the seller (Grower) to encourage buyer confidence in on-farm storage and more trade direct from farm.

The GrainXchange is very user friendly and registration is simple, just click on the link to Growers Login or signup and complete the online form. You will receive a tax invoice for the annual subscription fee via email and can pay by direct deposit or cheque all details are provided on the tax invoice. Our office staff will activate your account when we receive your payment.
